How does the tax stimulus plan work for married couples filing jointly when one spouse earned less than $3000?

Just like filing your income tax, it doesn't matter that only one spouse had income.

A married couple with no children, with taxable income of at least $3,000 in 2007 would qualify for the full $1,200 rebate under the terms of the Tax Rebate plan agreed to by the President and Congressional Democrats.

Nothing has passed Congress yet, so it is subject to change. How does the tax stimulus plan work for married couples filing jointly when one spouse earned less than $3000?
No possibe way to know as it has NOT been passed into law yet. Any other answer that you get is PURE guesswork.

it might be Kiss the Bride (the 2002 version)

i've never seen it, but the plot summary sounded similar to what you described. hope this helps! :)

What would I have to do to get married on one of the Virgin Islands? (preferably St. Thomas, on the beach)?

This will be the 3rd marriage for my fiance and myself, but this is the keeper. We want to keep it small, but memorable. My dream is to marry on a beach, barefoot. Any Suggestions? Also, we won't have any problem with legality in the United States? We live in Illinois right now.

Thanks to all. What would I have to do to get married on one of the Virgin Islands? (preferably St. Thomas, on the beach)?
The website vinow.com has a great deal of information regarding island weddings (http://www.vinow.com/stthomas/weddings/)鈥?/a> not to mention lots of other information about St. Thomas.

A friend was married at the beginning of the summer and they used http://www.fantasiaweddings.com - I've always found the woman to be a bit over the top but they were very happy, and she's been doing weddings on island for at least 12 years, and probably more!

A barefoot beach wedding sounds about perfect to me! Congratulations! What would I have to do to get married on one of the Virgin Islands? (preferably St. Thomas, on the beach)?
Any island will suffice - hope your dream comes throught this time around, barefoot is good on a weddind day
This might help.
Well,if this is your last one for sure.';Christmas Island'; it should be.

Congratulations!
if you decide to marry in st.thomas... a beach that i recommend would be sapphire beach. the water is gorgeous and you have a great view of st.john.
What a wonderful dream! That is romantic too!

I think a rainbow and a bouquet of soft colors would be gorgeous day or night.

Instead of chairs for the guests to be seated, they could have specialized beach towels in soft colors maybe with the words, ';beach wedding'; on them!

Lots and lots of carribean music to celebrate!

Congradulations to the bride and groom of this question!!!!!
I think you have to be a virgin.

Are you amazed that Lisa Marie Presley stayed married to Michael Jackson for 18 months?

During one of their fights, she accused him of being selfish.

He responded ';How can you call me selfish. I love all of the children in the world!';

Seriously, how do you even have a conversation with someone like that? I want to give her a medal for even trying. Are you amazed that Lisa Marie Presley stayed married to Michael Jackson for 18 months?
Yes, she needed to boost her career in music, however, marrying the pedophile didn't really help her much. She came out with a CD shortly after, but it was a flop. Are you amazed that Lisa Marie Presley stayed married to Michael Jackson for 18 months?
Eh...i know. They got into fights a lot. Whatever. Lisa Marie seemed like she was a b*tch to him anyways.

I mean, yeah. Okay. Living with Michael would get annoying, I know. He was really sad all the time, and felt sorry for himself...but after his childhood, i don't blame him at all. So it doesn't matter to me. He pushed people away. I don't blame him. In his world of fame and everything, there's hardly anyone you can trust.
Hmmm...

Do think he only married her because of his 'royalty' obsession?

If Elvis is The King and Jacko is the The King of Pop was Lisa Marie a princess fit for him? Look what he called 'his' kids Prince Michael the First and Second?

Plus he was on the rebound from paying Jordy out $20 million to keep his mouth shut.

Yes, amazing Lisa Marie was that daft.
First and foremost, your quote needs to be backed by solid proof of its existence, or else it'll only look like something contrived. Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie were obviously in love, and though it didn't work out, I don't imagine them having any huge regrets.
How could you not love Michael?

But i can only imagine living with Michael after awhile would be...annoying. He felt sorry for himself alot, Lisa said.

He also pushed people away that actually wanted to help him...then complain about being lonely?!!
Truth Machine...

Here's the truth.

You weren't invited to any of their conversations. I'm reporting you for a privacy invasion.
Well, she was in love with him... so NO i'm not suprised.

Idk where you get your facts from, because they're always wrong lol.
of course yaaa
wow

thats quite a while
Yeah Even Though If I Were here i Would Have Stayed Married To him Because He is So Sweet!!

  • Getting married in 6 months and i need to find out a way to lose 20 pounds?

Im getting married in 6 months and lately it seems like i dont have enough energy to do anything. Ive put on a few pounds and now i want to lose those few and a few more. Ive been dieting for 2 months and it seems like nothing is coming off! Does anyone know what i can do about this! Thank you.Getting married in 6 months and i need to find out a way to lose 20 pounds?
You gotta exercise! Also, try drinking less soda and more water!Getting married in 6 months and i need to find out a way to lose 20 pounds?
i did a 3-day diet and excercise it really worked for me.

you can look it up online.
You should be able to lose 1 - 2 pounds a week SAFELY without going on a crazy crash diet that's bad for you.

There are 3,500 calories in a pound. If you just cut 500 calories a day you can lose 1 pound a week. This is best done by a combination of healthy eating and exercise! You did not mention exercise in your original post, so I assume you are not doing any.

Exercise is great because not only does it burn fat, it also TONES your body so you will physically look better/healthier. There are plenty of skinny girls who still look bad because they are all flabby and have no muscle tone or strength. Exercise may seem tough at first, but it will actually boost your energy level over time.

Healthy eating is a no-brainer.... plenty of veggies, fruits, healthy carbs that are high in fiber, low-fat dairy and fats (including meats) in moderation. Choose chicken or fish over beef. And drink plenty of water. Avoid sugars and processed foods.

Exercising can be as simple as walking briskly for 30 min to an hour a day depending on your current fitness level. You may also want to lift light hand weights or do at-home calisthenics like push-ups, crunches, etc. to tone your body. Pilates is a great body toner. You could check out a book or a DVD from your library to get started, you don't need to join a class or have fancy equipment.

DO NOT try high protein or any other crazy extreme diet... it will mess up your body. I did Atkins for a few weeks to fit in a bridesmaid dress.... the night before the rehearsal I ended up in the E.R. with heart palpitations and dry heaving.

You can lose the weight and be healthy about it if you are disciplined. Congratulations...I'm sure you'll look great at your wedding!
There is only one proven method for weight loss - a calorie restriction diet combined w/ exercise. 20 lbs in six months is a healthy goal, but it will not be easy.

For your diet: an average caloric intake per day is 2000 calories - keep track of what you eat and try to come in under 2000. Here are some tips: drink only diet pop, start buying items at the grocery store that are ';light'; or ';low cal,'; don't go out to eat (some meals can give you an entire days worth of calories, check websites for diet information of your favorite restaurants, it will disgust you), and try to eliminate pointless snacking.

Exercise: the hardest part is finding time. You have to come up with something that works for you. That could be getting up half an hour earlier and going for a jog or it could be lifting weights right after work. Just find something you like to do and try to do it 20-30 minutes per day for 5 days a week. Here are some ideas: run, walk, swim, lift weights, aerobics, karate/boxing, basketball, skating, or biking.

If you start excercing more, you should notice that you have more energy. Remember, the hardest step of your exercise is the first one.

Good luck and congrats on getting married.
Losing 20 pounds safely is very possible in 6 months. It all comes to down your lifestyle habits (of eating). Dieting is not the way to go. You need to change your eating and lifestyle. The best and safest and most effective way to drop 20+ pounds in six months is to make sure you are doing cardio (hard biking, running, boxing...anything that gets your heart rate up and keeps it up for about 20 or more minutes). Then you need to add in weights or aerobics, yoga something of the sort to help turn your fat into muscle and not beefcake muscle, just a nice tone.

With the exercise part being said you then also need to change how you eat. I'm not sure how you eat now, but if you don't already you should (with as many products as you can) look for ';bad'; ingredients in the foods you buy such as high fructose corn syrup and enriched flour....among some others...as these are very bad for your body. Try to eat right, including your fruits and vegetables. If you drink a lot of soda you can always switch it to Diet soda if you want to keep drinking it, this will help you out majorly. If you drink a lot of alcohol you should definitely stop or drastically cut back (depending upon how much you drink this could easily drop your weight down by 20 pounds and this I know from personal experience). If you eat out often you should cook more at home, it's healthier, cheaper and you'll know what is in your food.

Basically you need to work out and eat right and balanced. This doesn't have to mean sacrificing taste or your favorite foods. You can reach your goal easily in the time frame if you are willing to work for it. I have included a few websites that may help you.

    Good luck and Congratulations!
you could drink plenty of water and take your vitamins and you could walk and or do some sort of work out. and get plenty of rest! oh yea and eat healthy.
Try eating 5 small meals a day instead of 3 big meals to keep up your metabolism. Don't eat anything after 9:00pm. Always eat a good breakfast. Stay away from white bread, pasta, pizza... anything high in carbs. Eat food with lots of protein and fiber. Try to stay away from sweets and fried food. Don't drink any beverages with a lot of sugar, and limit your alcohol intake.

Try exercising at least 3 times a week. A half an hour is a good start. A mixuture of cardio and weight-training is best.

Is it ok to fanatize after a fictional married character?

on tv? For example Elliot Stabler on SVU?

Or is it adultery in God's eyes even though the character isn't real?Is it ok to fanatize after a fictional married character?
Omg, that's just sad.Is it ok to fanatize after a fictional married character?
if you are fantasizing about fictional characters i think you have deeper issues.

especially a cop who goes after sex offenders. its one thing if you were fantasizng about the actor- its not as if the guy is a cartoon (ie: jessica rabbit), the fact that it is his law and order persona might indicate something.

there are deeper issues here that a psyciatrist would be better suited to sort out than a clergyman.
lust is lust, you're going to burn

quick, go say 7 Old Mother Hubbards and 12 Ring Around The Roses

    then you will be safe
Sure. But you should aim higher than Elliot. He is an emotional wreck.
god says that weather you lust with touch or with eyes its still adultery
    it's OK with me

Do you think if I marry a man whose father has been divorced 3 times, married 4 times, he will want a divorce?

his father has been divorced three times, married four times, and had couples counseling with the 3rd marriage. Sounds like his 4th marriage is going well, but do you think his son will learn from him and not do that, or end up doing the same thing he did if something goes wrong? What do you think?Do you think if I marry a man whose father has been divorced 3 times, married 4 times, he will want a divorce?
Apples don't fall far from the tree.Do you think if I marry a man whose father has been divorced 3 times, married 4 times, he will want a divorce?
Children do learn from their parents and yes, just look at girls do they not learn it all from their mothers, well boys relate to their fathers.

Yes, i think he has probably learned walking away is a lot easier than dealing with the problems. Also, what is the reasons for the divorces, that too, he has probably learned.

Studies have proved that boys who's fathers have walk away and never looked back are more likely to do the same. It seems to be the odds that are against him.
Well, let's see here...........I've been married 3 times all within a 11 year period.

My daughter left her bf and father of her baby cause she caught him cheating.

    2 of my 3 son's aren't married but have lived with their gf's for 51/2 and 6 1/2 years.

I figure it's the person and the actions they take in their relationships.

Your judging your man by his father. It's not fair to him and it's really not right.

My mom was a drunk I'm not. My dad was a bad father.....I 'm a good mom.
well you can be sure that one thing the son has learned is that if he isn't happy, get rid of it and start over....kids learn from their parents actions more than from what the parents say
i think it can go both ways... either he will do everything to have a good marriage from learning from his dad's mistakes OR he will not take marriage seriously because he may see it as something that he can easily get out off by divorcing.
He could think he won't be like his father.

No matter who you end up with, you're risking divorce.
it's possible that he'll not want anything to do with divorce...

A forty seven year old man that is married that stays in a?

seperate room from his wife and does not even hardly talk to her. He has caused financial ruin and controls the finances and bills. stays in his room after work and on weekends whats wrong with him.A forty seven year old man that is married that stays in a?
He could be going through something that he feels he cannot tell anyone else. This could be something bad or something that he just needs to deal with. The fact that he stays in a separate room from his wife suggests that he's not inclined to put an effort into his marriage.

Was this an arranged marriage? Another question that arises is that the husband maybe gay. Now I know that's a wild accusation but the fact that he does not sleep with his wife or care to spend time with suggests that a) He's not interested in women at all or b) He maybe interested in another woman.

Coming back to the financial problems. The wife needs to find out what he spends his money on. he could be gambling or spending money on dodgy internet sites.

I feel sorry for the wife in all this but if she tries to gently talk to him and get him to open up or talk about his problems maybe it will help.

I hope you resolve this.A forty seven year old man that is married that stays in a?
He is either suffering from depression or he is a selfish pig

  • Do you think it's alright for a married man to hang out with friends of the opposite sex?

Most of my friends growing up have been women. I'm not sure how it will change when I get married. Do you, as a woman, feel okay with your husband hanging out, going out (not a date) alone with another woman? How about with a group of women, maybe with a few men in the mix?Do you think it's alright for a married man to hang out with friends of the opposite sex?
no, not really. unless im there too...its fine if we're all in a group of married couples, for example. otherwise its just weird...why would i go hang out with some random guy and vice versa him with some woman? he feels like that too about me hanging out w/ other guys...

Which state has the youngest age to be married with parental consent?

Please excuse my horrible English.Which state has the youngest age to be married with parental consent?
    In New Hampshire, you can marry if you are 13 (female) and 14 (male)...this is the youngest that I can find. There is a note to that: ';Any marriage contracted by persons under 18 may, in discretion of superior court, be annulled at suit of the party who at the time of marriage was under 18. The parent or guardian can also annul, unless the parties confirm marriage upon reaching age of consent (18 years).';

Mississippi (female only at 15) and Missouri will let you marry at FIFTEEN (15) with parental consent. A number of states permit you to be married with parental consent at the age of 16: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas (female only), Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, DC, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey (unless parents are of unsound mind). You can look the rest up at the website below.

Three states (Kansas, California, and Massachusetts) don't have a minimum age for marriage with parental consent.

And that webpage does go on to say that although you can marry at these minimum ages with parental consent, most of these states will require confirmation (permission) from the court and some states require counseling. I think you may need a lawyer's advice on what is the best way to go about this. Good luck.Which state has the youngest age to be married with parental consent?
You cannot be a resident of one state yet go off and get married in another because the legal age to marry is lower there. If you have parental consent, you could possibly marry in your own state, but since you do not provide that, this is difficult to answer.
The Queen of France was married at the age of 7.

Not sure, I think the youngest age is 13 in QLD. Not a 100% sure though.
The age at which one may marry without parental consent is the same in all fifty state, 18.
Each state is different. I believe 16 is the younges with parental consent.

Why some unmarried girls are more attracted toward married man?

Is this a psychological problem or feeling jealousy ....sometime married man are not guilty they are happy with their wife and family still some unmarried girls prefer them over unmarried counter partWhy some unmarried girls are more attracted toward married man?
Forbidden fruits has their own charm. Then, married men have become mature and has an aura of security which girls find irresistible.

There is another theory that girls innately want to have father figure in the boyfriend and see traits of father in the lover, hence they fell for a married man.Why some unmarried girls are more attracted toward married man?
I personally find such girls very disgusting. These kind of girls need to understand that flirting with a married man can lead to family breakdown and if the man in picture has kids too, then such kids get to suffer unnecessarily coz of them but they anyway don't bother about other's happiness.

I feel there is no particular reason why they do it, but its just that their little brain is not capable enough to judge how wrong it is, and they just go by their selfish feelings and flirt with married men.
I feel it's a psychological problem they won't admit they have. I know a female who has broken 5 or 6 families by enticing the husband away to be with her. Guess what....they last a little while and then she does the same thing over again. I guess she has to feel that she can get what man she wants. She has no thought to breaking up the family as long as she gets what she wants. She has never been with a single man...they've all been married men. I guess she needs to feel that she's all of that...whatever that is. She has never entertained the idea of marrying either one of them, they just live together. One day she will find herself to be an old lady left all by herself. She will reap what she has sown.
you are strictly ture... but me personally think... it's wrong... it hurts so much..that... why some girls theirselves ruin other woman's life... and I too hate those man who play with two girl's life... it's wrong... wrong... wrong...

whatever but... it may be anything fair in love... but being totally selfish is not a sign of true love...

I am so sorry if I offended anyone... I still respect all people's feelings...

    just stay happy !

    :)
Hey, the married guy is married for a reason and the ones still single, are still single for a reason. If he was a good catch he often still is.
Generally speaking, married men are more stable and capable of handling a relationship. Maybe (just maybe) some single ladies wants to experience this where they can not find it on single men.

    %26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;
what i think is that, married guys looks permanenet. I mean everything is stable. and he's matured enough.
Most of time it is circumstances and sometimes girls want to flirt societies prestigious people who have name and fame.
I think some women do this due to a deep seeded feeling that she will be taken care of. I believe it is a psychological matter at first attraction.
Sometimes they don't want a relationship and a married guy is ';safe'; since he's more unavailable longterm.
There are some girls who have this kind of nature. They like the company of more matured men than which is found in other men of their contemporary ages....I:)))))))))))
I personally think it's a challenge to them to see if they can get the guy and maybe even get him to leave his wife.
no strings....they get the love etc....yet they don't have to cook, clean, etc etc for the man.....just get the ';good part'; (so they think) ....
    jealousy , and greed
they are looking for a safe relationship, may be short-term
    True!
They are stupid that is why.

Where do you find friends when you are married and 30?

I got myself in this situation where I dont really have any friends and I am starting to get lonely. I dont want to make friends with the people I work with outside of work and I dont want to go out alone. So what other ideas do you? If I look for friends online how do I do that? I am not about cheating just looking for someone to talk to, relate to hang out with. Why does that seem like too much to ask at a certain point in life? Where do you find friends when you are married and 30?
lol! i totally understand you, i like friends too, but for some reason after getting re-married I lost all my friends.

I can use a friend if you want one. And trust me I would hessitate making friends online. but we can be friends : ) if you're here in caliWhere do you find friends when you are married and 30?
Try to find something that interests you, and seek out other people who are interested in the same thing. I.e., you can join a club, volunteer, go to lectures, take classes. It's always easier to make friends with someone when you actually have something in common. I met a lot of my friends when I joined the SCA (it's a medieval reenactment organization).

P.S. There's nothing wrong with meeting people online - same rules apply as in meeting in real life: don't trust random people, meet them through a trusted source, get to know someone, don't give out private information. With my interest in history, I was a part of an online historical RP community for years, and I met many people there who became my friends (some of them I've known for 10 years now). Again, key thing here is to develop your interests, follow them and find like-minded people to talk to and spend time with.
I'm in the same situation, I'm 30 and married, husband is 38. He has no desire for friendships with anyone, but I think it would be nice if we were friends with 3-4 other couples. We're mostly homebodies so that's probably our problem, however, we love the simplicity of our lives. I guess take up a hobby and hope other couples do too, or join a church group - do something where other couples are so you can have the option of meeting them and talking.
You can make friends through common interests. If you are into biking or skiing etc. you can join a local group of your age people. If you do not have a group in your town then you can form one. You can do many activities with the people in the group. Your place of worship could also be a good source of making friends. Flash that 100 watt smile and you will attract friendly people like honey attracts flies.
Clubs that are about your hobbies, churches, volunteering, community events, classes.

My husband and I started taking ballroom dancing lessons and we've made a lot of acquaintances and I think a few will develop into friendships. We also made friends at our church
There is nothing wrong with wanting friend but don't be so desperate that you will settle for anything. Are you married? If you are single, try church or ask some of the people you work with what they do.
You can find friend in church, activity group, book club........ Nothing wrong with going out by yourself either but try these places. The internet is too scary to meet friends. You have all types of crazy on here.
you can join a book club. they never stop talking and are not boring.

take a class at the local community college.

    adult education class.

take a flower arrangement or ceramics class.

    etc.

How about going to church that is a good place to start making friends.
What's wrong with the people you work with????? Most of my friends are because of where I worked or work at now.
    GOOD QUESTION !!!

All my friends dissed me when I got married !

Will the Army discharge you if you get married after you signed your contract to go in?

My Nephew is going into the Army in January. He signed up in November, but got engaged and is getting married in December. The woman he is married to is all ready in the Army. He was told by his cousin, that they would discharge him if he gets married. Is this true or a bunch of bull? Will the Army discharge you if you get married after you signed your contract to go in?
Total bull. He needs to get a certified copy of his marriage certificate and have his recruiter add it to his paperwork package. She's eligible for benefits starting the day he goes on active duty. Will the Army discharge you if you get married after you signed your contract to go in?
    Thats not true
Marriage is only prohibited before signing up for the Army it is allowed after entering the Army.
Smells like a bunch of bull
nuthing but a bunch of BULL, he signed his name on the dotted line, so he got married to some one that was active,, they will station him with her or with in 50 miles of her location, but that's all.
My brother did exactly the same thing and he is on his second deployment in Iraq. At this point I think he wishes he would get thrown out LOL. He has friends that have gotten married just for the extra money while they were deployed. I don't think that is to bright of an idea but it is done every day. I wish your nephew the best of luck and I hope he stays safe and happy. God Bless and I will keep him in my prayers.
    That's not true.
Bull. If he marries a man, then he could get discharged.
No, there are alot of people who are dual military in the ranks.Bunch of bull.
Not true! He's in and that's the way it will be married or not.
    bullshit
Its not true - he will have to develop a family care plan (if there are children), but no discharge.
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

    He's stuck.
    It's 100% Pure B.S.
Not a chance. It was tried in Vietnam, and it did no good then.
N O!! That is a bunch of bull.
no he wont get discharged. i married my husband while he was in the navy and he is still in
    Nope, not true.
of course not, it's not illegal to be married and in the Army.
    bull
Bull, marriage cannot cause you discharge in the Army. She got a chance though if ever the woman is pregnant and both of them in the army and she don't have family care plan, she can get away from it, but your nephew he cannot get discharge.

  • Good movie to watch together before we get married?

Thought about Fireproof, but we are not very religious so not sure about that one. Any others?Good movie to watch together before we get married?
just married...its funnyGood movie to watch together before we get married?
Well, I loved Fireproof and personally I think that you could get a lot out of it on the principles of being commited to a marriage even if you aren't religious.

A few other good examples would be:

';Click'; - great to show you how quickly things can go wrong, and to appreciate what you have

    ';Shall We Dance';

';fools rush in'; - I love that one!
Watch ';The Passion'; by Mel Gibson. You don't need to be religious to see the truth in what Jesus brought us is exactly what you are to do for one another.

You will have pain and you will have heartache. You will offend each other and you will argue. Know that this IS marriage!

Can you find the inner strength to forgive each other even in that fire?

Marriage is not about love - it's about FORGIVENESS!

Ever heard of ';The Notebook'; ?

    Grab your tissues...........
Romance movies I love (with happy endings):

    ';Lake House';

    ';Just like Heaven';

    ';Princess Bride';

';Pride and Prejudice'; (18th century type of society)

    ';Speechless';

';Love Comes Softly'; (A bit religious at times and the first movie in the series)

    ';American President';

Any Nora Roberts book movies. (i.e. Carolina Moon, Northern Lights)

I hope these help you out.
Well lets see, there are the classics like Casablanca or Gone With the Wind. The more modern ones.... Untamed heart, Ever After (if you like the fairy tale thing), Jason's Lyric is a good one (my Husband loves it.) If you are looking for a comedy there's The wedding singer, 50 First Dates, or something like that. Hope this helps.
I recommend, War Of The Roses, Fatal Attraction, and almost all horror movies. Still not inspired? How about watching a movie I like to call, ';The D. Rate Is Still 50% and Climbing.'; I love that movie. Me and my ex wife watched that one together.
Fireproof was really good! As a Christian, I didn't think it was as religious as what it could have been, however, having Christ in a relationship lasts much longer!
Fireproof is a really good movie to watch together. It just shows how much it takes for a couple to put into a good marriage.
    Runaway Bride

    Or even better, Charly:

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0330136/

My brother saw that one right before he got engaged to his wife. They never forgot it.
Serendipity is a good one..depends on what kind of movie your wanting to watch comedy,romantic,etc...
    Australia is romantic.
    Runaway Bride.
Does it really matter? I'm sure y'all have seen movies before now together on dates.
License to Wed, Meet the Parents, and Meet the Fockers. Good Luck and these three movies are really funny!
    Yes Man
watch UNFAITHFUL so you 2 wont make the mistake they did on that movie.
    Smiley Face.

How do i tell my family that im getting married?

i am 18 and i graduate in may. me and fiance are planning on getting married towards the end of the year. i want a special wedding with my family there and everything but heres the problem: they dont really like my fiance. i am so in love and so happy but im scared that all of their reactions will be nothing but disapointment and lectures. help! How do i tell my family that im getting married?
Is there a reason they don't like him? Are you giving up college to do this? If he loves you now, and it is real, it will wait for a year. Families are not likely to be disliking him without a good reason. You are very young, the rest of your life (until death do you part) is unimaginable right now. Do you have jobs? Budget? Apartment? Plans for family? differences in religion? How was he raised? How will you raise children? Who will discipline? How? What would happen if he was offered a job far away? What if you were? What would you do if you became pregnant and the baby was challenged in some way or handicapped?

My point is that there is a LOT that I am SURE you haven't discussed. Just a physical attraction does not mean you are in love or could live together successfully!

Talk with your parents, find out their concerns. If you are ready to marry, you will be able to convince them. How do i tell my family that im getting married?
Why don't they like him? Sometimes family can see things that we can't when we're in love. If you don't think that's the case, well then just gush to them that so and so proposed and you're getting married in whatever month. Act super happy and excited. If you have a venue picked out or anything like that, tell them about it. It'll be a lot harder for them to be negative when you're being really positive. You are 18 though and just graduating high school, so be prepared for the lectures on being too young and waiting for after college, ect. Just take it in stride and understand their concerns. Good luck!
I hate to break it to you but usually when family's don't like the boyfriend it's because they see the red flags that you can't see because you are in love. I think you should do what makes you happy, but 18 is a bit young for marriage and the responsibilities that come with it. Why don't you keep dating, just to be sure he's the one?
Parents usually want good things for their children.

If your family does not like your boyfriend, it may be because they can SEE things you cannot see...or are unwilling to admit are a problem.

You are still too young to consider marriage. Marriage is not an easy thing; and even people who are very much in love end up divorced.

I'm sure you are totally in love with this guy, but your entire life is at stake here. What's the rush? When a man - not a kid- loves a woman, he is willing to wait and to do things to prove he is worthy of her!

Remember the saying...';Marry in haste...Repent at leisure';!

    BE SMART and WAIT !!!
You are 18. Wait a bit. Live with him for at least a year. Can you afford an apartment? Bills? Have you really thought this through? Try living with him for a year and deal with the reality of life and living with him.
stop thinking about it. its your life, your choice. if you are happy, it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks.

I am married with three kids, i got the earned income credit on my taxes and i owed nothing?

does this mean we will not get the Economic Stimulus Rebate check?I am married with three kids, i got the earned income credit on my taxes and i owed nothing?
No, it doesn't mean that at all. Assuming you had at least $3000 in eligible income for 2007 (income from a job is eligible, and it can be earned by either of you) you'll qualify.

They look at what your tax would have been BEFORE the child tax credit and EIC to determine the amount. If you filed a joint return, you'll get at least $600 for the two of you, plus $300 for each dependent child under age 17.

Good luckI am married with three kids, i got the earned income credit on my taxes and i owed nothing?
No you'll get it unless you made some insane amount of money.
You will still get a Stimulus check. My friend had nothing to claim as far as income and no dependents and she got hers already.

Can a married adult become a US citizen or permanent resident if one of her/his parents is a US new US citizen

the adult is married and is over the age of twenty one.

    the adult has kids.

the adult entered the US illegally(did not used a visa or registered)

the father has just become a US citizen and hasnt been a citize any longer than a year, but has been a permanent resident for several years. Can a married adult become a US citizen or permanent resident if one of her/his parents is a US new US citizen
Not automatically, to be sure. The American parent can file an F-3 immigrant visa petition for his adult married son, but that won't be valid for some time, about 8 years for most folks and about 17 years for some nationalities, and the son won't be able to benefit until it is valid for use. Since the son came here illegally, under current US law, he would not be able to adjust to immigrant status in the US in any case. He would need to leave the US, along with his family, if they are aliens and also here. Once you've been living in the US illegally for over a year, you are ineligible for any visa for 10 years, although he may be able to apply for a waiver once he's left the US and his petition is valid for use.Can a married adult become a US citizen or permanent resident if one of her/his parents is a US new US citizen
In order to become a usa citizen you need to return to your home country and apply for citizenship and have your father sponsor you as his child.

Have other married couples taken nude pics of the wife?

My wife and I both share a fun kink of taking nude pics of her. She is a very reserved modest girl, but give her a few drinks and my camera comes out she becomes my hot little model. We have a collection of several hundred pics of her in various poses and in various stages of undress.

Do other couples do this? Or do you find this strange?Have other married couples taken nude pics of the wife?
It's not strange. A lot of couples do it. If you think about it what does it say to your lady. I think it says I'd rather get off looking at naked pictures of her than some other internet porn.

A word of caution though. Be very careful how you store them. Under lock and key would be best. You don't want someone finding them and posting them on the internet. I'd also recommend that you don't keep them on your computer. put them on a flash drive in a very safe place.

Have fun with it.Have other married couples taken nude pics of the wife?
This is not strange at all. Me and my husband have hundreds of pics. Sometimes I will take pics of myself and surprise him with them. Just be careful they don't fall into the wrong hands. It actually keeps things interesting too. Remember when you are at home by yourself, waiting for her to get home, take a look at her pictures and it will make for a interesting evening when she gets there.
Not strange you value her beauty and how she portrays herself when drunk. Ny mine likes whipping out the video camera and doing so. i don't think highly of myself but he can't seem to get enough of it. He also has various pics on his cell I send him when I am at home bored and waiting for him.
We've been taking erotic pictures for about 5 years now and post them somewhat regularly on the site mentioned here. Posting them added a new kick!
I find you strange, and a bit creepy for even posting this.

You can take your hand out of your lap now, creepo-creeparoni-creep-o-ri.....
I dont find it strange at all. Lots of couples are into that. Unfortunately my wife wont even change in front of me. Consider yourself lucky.
Perfectly normal, take pics of you as well. Then post to your own website to share with the world!

I have had nude pics of me on the internet for over ten years!
I thought it would be fun, but my wife is not camera material. It's best with the lights off and my eyes shut.
My wife and I do, but she takes more photos of me. I have recently lost weight and we are both having fun show them off.

    NiF
No, it's not odd at all, I enjoy taking photos of your wife as well, but having sex with her is better.
We have done stuff like that also....

    Nothing is strange to me....
Its fun...celebrate her while she has it! I would be picky about how you distribute...
    Nope, never.
we do, we love it, why would me looking at nude pictures of my beautiful wife be strange?
if you keep the pictures to yourself it is o.k.
I think your the only person
    never have...never will.....are you gona share?? =)
yeah and we make our own porn but we arent shy

  • If your married or in a long term relationship, what do you use for birth control? Age? And do you smoke?

Ok, I was just wondering what everyone uses for birth control, age, and if they smoke. What do you think is the best birth control? Do some married people never use anything and still avoid pregnancy without too much trouble? I use Yaz and I do smoke, bout 5-10 cigs a day and I am 25 and married. Let me know what you use, your age, and if you smoke with your method or what you think is best. Thanks. If your married or in a long term relationship, what do you use for birth control? Age? And do you smoke?
I am 32, I only smoke banana peels, and I do not use birth control because my husband has been emasculated by a vasectomy. If your married or in a long term relationship, what do you use for birth control? Age? And do you smoke?
I'm 29 and although I'm pregnant now (planned) after we had our son 9 years ago, I got the IUD. I loved it, I never had so much as a scare. When we were finally ready to conceive I had it removed. And the best thing about it, is there are no hormones, so you don't have to worry about gaining weight, breaking out, blood clots and all the other side effects with other birth control. Btw I don't smoke, but my husband does.
hey im 23 my bf is 27 and we live together we currently werent using anythingthan i went to get on bc and the same day i found out i was pregnant i use to smoke like 10 joints a day or more but now its no smoking

but when we first started dating i was on microgestin bc

but after the baby i plan also to get on yaz but i heard it can cause crazy mood swings.
Ortho Tri-Cyclen AND condoms, because I hate babies and can't stand the thought of having one. I am happily married.

I do not smoke. But, if I had kids, I would probably be so miserable that I would smoke just to make my life shorter.

Luckily, I have no kids so my life is great! No need to kill myself with cigarettes.
i'm married 10yrs, i'm 33, smoke and have the copper iud on. my dr. and me decided that was the best option for me since i smoked
Im 25, long term relationship. Im on trinessa and we also use the contraceptive film, seems to be working just fine. I also smoke.

    Smoke- No.

    Age- Young

Birth Control- the pill (Femcon Fe) AND condoms..both at the same time. I had a baby at 18 while only on the pill, so two forms of birth control are a must for me!

Women who married too young and then divorced?

What was your motivation for getting married?

How long did it take you to realize you had made a mistake?Women who married too young and then divorced?
Almost divorced due to immaturity----thinking that I would have it better without him, thankfully did not follow through. We will now be celebrating our 20th anniversary and both of us are thankful that we ';stuck out'; the hard times and made it to the other side. I'm sure our children are very happy about that too as they did not grow up in a broken home and they will not have to deal with the mess of a broken family in their later years when they have children..........

http://www.marriagedivorce.comWomen who married too young and then divorced?
Love.I really thought i was in love with the man, being pregnant had something to do with it. When he became verbally and emotionally abusive, about 1 year i knew it was a mistake.

18 years later I finally filled for divorce. Married way to long. now i have my life back to live. I ended up with 3 beautiful children from this marriage and that is the only thing i would never change or have regrets about.
Motivation, (I believed he was who he said and demonstrated he was) and was in it forever!!!

How long? 16 yrs of abuse and almost losing my life, I finally walked away...I couldn't fix what didn't have the will to be fixed.

Now: I have peace in my life...: )
married for love my only motavation, knew a less than a year big mistake, but i tried to make it work for nearly ten years

I was beaten and abused for all my marriage and divorced now but very happy
I was married at 19. Why? Because I love him. And guess what? I still do.

Its not a mistake. I dont see it as a mistake. I said through thick and thin and mean it.
i married him out of love, but it didn't take long to see he was too young, too immature, and a cheater. took less than a year to become disenchanted and wanting out.
Till U ask questions to what only U and Ur partner can find the right answers in the privacy of your bedroom with committed love as the necessary ingredient and willingness to know God's plan for both of U.
    i was 22 and she was 18

never even thought about it being a mistake went through the hard times and still married its to easy today to just walk away and get a divorce
I did. It took me about a year then I realized it was a mistake. Nothing really can be done..it's been over 20 years. Just waiting to grow old ..and maybe finally find inner peace...
yes. thought i loved him. too long.

Why do married women always blame the other women when their husband cheat?

i read other posters saying they want to kick the other women butt. calling them a home wrecker. Calling the other women telling them to stay away from their husband.

they never seem to blame their husband. and always take the husband back.

If my husband cheated on me; i would be happy to kick his butt out.Why do married women always blame the other women when their husband cheat?
THANK YOU!! Is she a slut? yes. Is she a whore? yes. Is she a prostitute? Yes! Is she a homewrecker? NO! she's not the one who's married, he is! women can be cowards! instead of blaming the right person, they blame the third person! who violated the vows? He did.

My own experience: I dated a married man but never knew he was married, his wife attacked me saying it was MY fault that he was unfaithful and i seduced HIM!! Why didn't she confront her husband? why me? ESPECIALLY her knowing that i didn't know and when i knew broke everything off!

Some women are just cowards man!Why do married women always blame the other women when their husband cheat?
Probably because those wives who truly loved their cheating husbands would like to try and find a way to forgive them and make the marriage work and if they can somehow put the blame elsewhere it would be easier for them to reconcile.

When my husband cheated, I looked hard for a way to separate who he was from what he did so I could try and get past it. I did believe that the woman shared some of the responsibility. I also believe that alcohol and his work environment played a role. But the deeper I dug, the more I had to come to terms with it just being his own arrogance, pride, and selfishness.

Now I just feel sorry for both of them if that's the best they can do. I have moved on and remarried to a wonderful faithful husband that I can respect and trust.

In a cheating situation, both are to blame, meaning the husband and the other woman. I'm glad and thankful to never have been in that situation, but I would never let my husband get off scot-free and blame only the other woman.

More than anything else, I think wives who place blame solely on the other woman do it because they love their husbands and it is too hurtful to recognize %26amp; deal with the betrayal...just easier to make the other woman the complete bad guy.

Of course this isn't dealing realistically with the situation, but it's why I think some cheated-on wives go this route.
Because it makes them feel better blaming the other woman, rather than admitting their husband is capable of taking an active role in pursuing other women. I guess they feel that if they can make themselves believe that the other woman seduced their guy it feels better than admitting their husband finds other women attractive, and they are not the only one their husbands desire, a matter of pride as well i guess. I have to own up to having gone out with married men, they all lied to me though, and when i found out their a$$ was kicked to the kerb, good and proper. I suppose some women would see me as a seductress, but often the 'other' woman is an innocent victim too, and the man is SO good at lying his wife believes his lies, just as much as her rival did lol :-)
because they love their husband and they want to believe that the other woman tempted their husband to enter in an illicit affair.i think both the husband and the other woman were responsible.as they always say we never intended it.it just happened.but some cheating husbands are responsible enough to admit their fault. apologizes to the woman they love and realises their mistakes.they were happy to be given a second chance and love their wives more because of what happened.
My wife has always said if i cheat she'd kill ME, i'm the one who made a commitment to her, so i would be to blame; ok another woman shouldn't try anything but then i'm the married one so i shouldn't do anything and i don't intend to, people only cheat if they aren't happy, if either my wife or i are unhappy we discuss it and work it out, jumping into someone elses bed isn't gonna solve anything.
Great question. I have often wondered the same thing and what I have concluded is that it is easier for them to take the anger and hurt out on the 3rd party than the one who is responsible which is their husband.... Think about it, the one that you love has an affinity for another...it is human and natural to destroy the competition. The other woman is a threat that must be destroyed to avoid tearing apart the family so it is kill or be killed mind set. This person is the determining factor for an intact home with the children or a home where the kids visit on the weekends. A woman does not want her home messed with. I don't think that when a woman discovers the affair, that she is dealing with logic. It is the threat that she wants removed at all costs. Like I stated earlier it is about keeping her family intact and her home safe and secure. She will deal with her husband in time but she wants to make sure that the other woman is out of the picture and no longer pursuing her husband.

    Just my thoughts
Its a natural instinct to blame anyone else but your own husband. Yes you say a lot of things out of anger. My husband DID cheat on me, I confronted her, after about 20mins of talking (some yelling) I realised that she too was hurt about this as he had lied to the both of us. It all turned on him and I did kick his *** out.

You try not to believe its your husbands fault but it takes 2 to tango.
They don't always. When I cheated on my wife (this was many years ago), she held me fully responsible. She wanted to kick MY butt, lol. And, on an emotional level, she did. I think she handled my infidelity extraordinarily well, and that I am now a better, more mature and responsible husband because of that. She has my eternal gratitude for forgiving me.
I would never blame the other women. It takes 2 to tango. And my husband has a brain, women can be very persuasive... but he can say no...

I would kick his but as well... I guess I would never keep him away from his children but our relationship would be over - I would never trust him again!
that is a good question, I do not get it either!!! He is the one to blame you are not married to the other..... it is all the mans fault.
They want to believe that their husband was seduced by some witch who used a magic spell to lure him, because god forbid her perfect man be unfaithful to her.
Who knows. It would solve the problem much more quickly if you just kicked the cheating jerk out. Once he cheats, he's damaged goods and he deserves whatever strumpet he gets.
Don't worry,i'm sure the husband never gets off scot free either,it's just that there are women out there where snaring other womens husbands is a sport.
cause they're stupid. If my husband cheated I'd kick his *** and if she knew he was married, then hers.Lorena Bobbit had the right idea.just hide the thing a little better.
Because they're just doormats which is why the stupid husband cheated in the first place! Get a clue, ladies...
    hallelujah!!
lol...lol...lol... Ha ha ... If it were me ...Id cut it, chop it up and serve it in his chipped beef for dinner after the hospital said he could eat solids again... that will teach him .....
    IT TAKES TWO TO TANGO
    You are so right !!!
Really? You say you would ';kick his butt out';, WOW. That must mean that you do not rely on him for financial means and that he could be ';gone'; today and you would never skip a ';beat';...Hmmm.

And what If you had children with him? What If you had a disabled child with him? Then what? What if you and him were both needed to raise the child/children?

My husband is a former Adulterer and I do blame him, however the Whore from Hell who was with him knew me and was my friend, she knew very well that he is a married man with children, so, does that not make her an Adulterer? Certainly it does. Of course the husband is also a Adulterer and a Whore.

Until I lived through Adultery and have had to try and salvage our lives after the devastation I believe I had a more liberal view of Whores, but now I know that right is right and wrong is wrong, That's all.
Have you ever known a woman to blame herself ?

What makes a man want to get married to a woman?

Guys: what makes you want to live with a woman for the rest of your life? honestly!

    * i want answers from guys who dated alot and those who haven't and is virgins! ( good 4 you! i am too!) and even if you are married already.

what makes you know she is or was the one? What makes a man want to get married to a woman?
I want to get married because the one that i am with makes me feel complete-we can talk about anything with an opened mind, we are able to work out differences in a positive manor, and there is love and respect for each other. What makes a man want to get married to a woman?
The basic emotional need of man is to be loved, to be loved totally and he thinks such a love can be received from a woman in bondage, not a woman in freedom. An unmarried woman is free to share her love with anyone she likes.

And once married, soon one knows that the love in which one was seeking happiness is no more there. This happened because of too much togetherness. Loves needs space to grow. The space is created through distance between the parterns which is not there in marriage. Love gets stifled between the two with too much togetherness and one day it dies. And once love dies, existence drags itself. Love cannot be forced. Neither you nor nor law can force a woman to love. Because she is married to you, you may think that you got a licence to get whole of her love for you. But that is not always possible, even in marriage. Both expect love from each other in marriage, in fact neither of them gives it. There is only expectation and no giving. So ultimately there is no love. And the relationship turns dry. They, however, drag themselves to the end of their lives and life without love becomes boring and meaningless. Love lends meaning to life, you know, and without it, life has no meaning.
Some of my reasons are probably for the wrong reasons.

One- because its nice to have companionship when your getting older and everybody else is married doing their own thing without you. Two- because people always ask you why your single, like your a loser or something even when your not a loser. Three- easy SEX. Four- having sex with random woman is great but i don't think God likes me doing that. And that is it.

Me personally i think having a girlfriend or being single is better but that's not what everybody else thinks.
the answers all right here. please help: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>

  • I just joined the Army and is married. What will all my pay be starting as a E-3?

I know I get 1169.00 for being a E-3. And the BAH for 1143.00. And BAS 337.00. Is this all your entitled to? I thought you were entitled to more when married with a family...I just joined the Army and is married. What will all my pay be starting as a E-3?
nope. the only thing you get is BAH at the with dependent rate. doesn't matter if you have a spouse or a spouse and ten kids, the amount is the same.. based on paygrade and zip code of Duty station( wife's location while you are in Basic and AIT).

also you do NOT GET BAS while in the barracks.. so not while in basic and AIT. BAS is only paid out when you are not being provided your meals by the Military.I just joined the Army and is married. What will all my pay be starting as a E-3?
    1. You ask if your starting pay will be as an E-3,

No you will start as an E-1, unless you met one of the requirements for advanced enlistment rank.

Being married doesn't effect rank at all.

    2. While in basic, your pay is based on enlistment rank.

    Base pay :

    E-1 - $1,295

    E-2 - $1569

    E-3 - $1650

If married, you will collect BAH, based on where your wife lives.

    Anywhere from $650 to $2,000 a month.

You do not collect BAS while in Basic and AIT.

The only thing you get extra for being married, is about $100 more BAH every month, than a single soldier gets.

You get BAH at the with dependents rate.
Yes and no. Your numbers are not up to date.

    http://www.militaryfactory.com/military_鈥?/a>

You get $1649 base pay for E-3, BAH depends on where you live, but $1143 sounds about right. BAS is $337. that is right. That is all you get unless you go on airborne status or go to combat, in which case you get $150 to $300 more. You don't get BAS in Basic Training either, but you get separation pay, which is like $250. You do not get BAS or BAH when you have a family, or are living in a Barracks at your permanent duty station. You get food and shelter instead. You also don't get BAH if you live in Army family housing. Also, if you get BAH, it will probably be less when you get to your duty station, bacuase the cost of living will probably be less there.

You were expecting more than that?
Dude, you enlisted in the Army. The key being ENLISTED. You don't get that much when you start. What I don't get is why you are being paid so little for being an E-3. In the Marines (which is what I'm in) you get around $1400 as a private.
dont be greedy. think about somebody with your training in the civilian world. You are getting overpaid with all your benefits
That's when you finish your service and become a Veteran. Don't worry you'll make it...
662.00 a week you are doing better than most.
    Bye Ron...

Do i have to pay off my debt in canada before I can get married to a U.S citizen and move to the U,S?

Im a canadian citizen , my boyfriend is american. We are going to get married so I can move there and live and work there as well but I want to know if I have to pay off my canadian debt before I can go there. Also when you move to the U.S from Canada but you're not a U.S citizen yet can you still get credit?Do i have to pay off my debt in canada before I can get married to a U.S citizen and move to the U,S?
Information is shared between companies to whom you owe money and they may decide that while you would not be barred from travelling to the US, you may be denied any further credit.

As far as you getting married so you can move to the US, you may want to reconsider whether or not the US officials will see your marriage as an attempt to get some kind of status in the US.

Look, it's simple, pay off your debts.Do i have to pay off my debt in canada before I can get married to a U.S citizen and move to the U,S?
No. Canada does not have debtor's prison and welshing on a debt is not a crime. You will start in the USA with a clean slate as far as credit is concerned. This means it will most likely take you several years using very low limit, very high interest, credit cards to build up a credit score.
    No

Is premarital sex a sin if you are engaged and end up marrying that person and are married to that person?

for the rest of your life?Is premarital sex a sin if you are engaged and end up marrying that person and are married to that person?
Yes because marriage is a covenant and sex is not permitted before the marriage or covenant is made.Is premarital sex a sin if you are engaged and end up marrying that person and are married to that person?
I don't think so, also I think once you have sex with someone, you are married to that person because you and that other person became one and are bound together, even if your not married with papers and all that. I think it's wrong if you have sex with more than one person, because the person you have sex with should be the one you truly love and want to stay with forever.
It's not a sin no matter what.

Do questions in the marraige/divorce section stop you from ever wanting to get married?

All the complaints you read about and stuff...does it discourage you?Do questions in the marraige/divorce section stop you from ever wanting to get married?
lol i think im in that boat! not from questions on here but from life experiences.. my friends complain about thier husbands.. my boss complains about his wife.. at the end of the day i go home happy i can do what the hell i want with noone to answer to lolDo questions in the marraige/divorce section stop you from ever wanting to get married?
I don't think it will stop me from ever wanting to get married.

Nothing in life comes with instructions and most people learn as they go along through living life, not by not doing what someone else already did.

I believe it is a positive thing to see so many people on here asking the questions that most don't even want to put out there for fear of what others might think.

Along with putting all those questions out here they are getting way more feed back then if they just asked a few friends that may or may not be going through the same things and are better equipped to make a decision on their issue.
    no....=)

i mean i know alot of people these days get divorced but i mean it just depends on who you decide to spend the rest of your life with

most of the people that divorced are because they didn't really know each other and because they got married to soon and they didn't get to enjoy there single life before they got married i just think it depends on the 2 people that get married not all marriages fail...it just depends on the effort that your willing to put into your marriage to make it work

its all about love respect trust and commitment and the rest simply falls into place.
It is worrying when you see how many men are prepared to cheat.

There are many questions raised here on infidelity, and the man telling his wife it was ALL the other woman's fault, when the wife finds out.

I would HATE to end up like that...so desperate to cling onto my husband that I believed ANYTHING that came out of his mouth, even when the hard evidence stared me in the face.

I guess if I met someone I truly loved, I would take the plunge but I think infidelity will always be a worry.
Marriage is hard because it is. It doesn't just happen you both need to feed it to keep it alive.

But isn't that how it works with EVERY relationship, romantic and otherwise?
Well, I'm already married but looking past that it makes me thankful for the relationship and husband I have. It doesn't discourage me, because all couples/relationships have problems, but it makes me realize my problems with husband are so minute compared to others.
No, other peoples problems are not my problems. I am PO'd ever other day with my hubby but, I am trying to gut it out to that 25 year anniversary mark. If I don't make it who knows I might not want to. You are a good person, Javi. You have a sweet side that will make you a good husband for some lucky girl. Your wife is insane to let you go so easily.
Ya know.. some people whine on here cos they got nothing better to do. Do people ever ask why they are so happy? NO. Because they are content with their lives and do not question it. I was divorced last year and am looking forward to marrying again with the right man. No one can stop my happiness, especially not silly whining people on yahoo lol
Nah. I live in a fantasy land where my almost 41 year old boyfriend of 11 years and the father of my two kids grows up and makes an honest woman out of me.
No, but they do make me sad and afraid for our society as a whole, since the level of ignorance is absolutely mind-boggling.
    No.

It just makes me even more grateful for my husband and myself, and the life we share.
Already married. Makes your realize what you've learned during your marriage.
Same here as with Valerie, %26amp; LILF.

Every time I read a Space Cadet post I think wow, it could be so much worse! and I just kick the dog.
I got married in 1994, divorced in 2004, and 10,000 whining wives would not stop me, I think on my own.
    Sometimes it does.
    Too late now.

Actually, they make me run home and kiss my husband and thank my lucky stars.
Are you kidding, just a bunch of nut jobs on here. People just do it for fun.

    Getting married that is!
No now i know i have a great wife!
    too late...they didn't have YA in 1996.

If you become pregnant after 4 months dating someone you love should you get married or wait?

We are 30 years old and finnancially sound but we don't even live together yet!If you become pregnant after 4 months dating someone you love should you get married or wait?
Wait. I got married over a pregnancy %26amp; it was the dumbest thing I ever did. We are divorced. If you become pregnant after 4 months dating someone you love should you get married or wait?
I wouldnt marry someone just because I got pregnant, if I really did love him I probably would but I would do it in the right time. Why rush into things. I wouldnt like to bring a child into a non loving environment. If I am not sure about my feelings for him I wouldnt. 4 months doesnt seem long enough to move in with someone even though you might think you know him well enough you might not know everything yet. Time will come when its right, maybe its good to have some space between the two of you right now, figured out if this is the man that you want to move in with and if he respects you has plans for you and your baby.
WAIT!!!! dont get married because of the baby. It seems like it would be right, but it's not quite right I don't think.

My brother got his gf pregnant, and their daughter is 2 now. He just proposed because they wanted to wait to pay for the daughter and make sure she was well taken care of. Then they wanted to get married when they became stable again and had enough money.

It does not pay to get married right away. It's a rush, and especially if you're questioning it, don't do it yet.

If you're still together and going strong well after the child is born, then do it because you love each other, not because you had a baby together
If i was you, i'd wait until the baby is born, and after a few months, if hes great with the baby, and your love is stronger than ever, get married when your baby's about three. My parents did this with me, and it worked excellent, please take my advice,

because if he loves you now, but if the baby gets to much, and he leaves goin thru a divorce is tough, and th wedding wud have been a bigggg waste of money.

I wish you to all happiness in the future, and congratulations on the baby.
That all depends on how you guys feel about each other. Take the pregnancy out of the equation. Now would you be talking about marriage? If so then marry him but if not then just wait it out. The baby is never a reason to get married. A few years down the road you, him, and your baby will be miserable if it wasnt for the right reasons.
that depends..have you and he talked about having kids, getting married? If not, how does he feel about it? Some men see this is a trap and want to run but if he is excited about it and you are excited about it, then just get married and be happy.
    don't marry him.

    wait.

just because you're having a child, that doesn't mean that you need to get married.

you never know how it will work out in the future.

of course you should stay with him and see how things work out, and then think about marriage.
i think four months is too soon. you don't want to get married and regret it. so i think that you should wait and get to know the guy on a more personal level before making such a big commitment
Try living together before you get married. Marriage is just legal business. You can love someone just as much without being bound together. So, wait until you are both sure that it will last.
I would not get married only for the baby, you can be great parents without wedding and once you really get to know each other then you can re-think this again.
If you are pregnant then you should get married to him or her but if he or her is not the right guy do not marry him or her!
right now your in a bit of tough situation i would not get married right away but at least move in together for the baby's sake and then see as time goes on how you still feel for each other
    Beware

get married with him right now

otherwise he will definetly left you
At least move in together. If not for your baby then to work on being a closer family.

What do you thin about angelina discussing her and brad daing while he was married in a new article?and what ?

do you think about jennifer anistons response? What do you thin about angelina discussing her and brad daing while he was married in a new article?and what ?
I thought it was tacky for Agelina to do that. She had to be awaere it would get back to Jenn. And why would she want to stir that garbage back upWhat do you thin about angelina discussing her and brad daing while he was married in a new article?and what ?
I THOUGHT IT WAS TOTALLY INSENSITIVE OF HER AND OBVIOUSLY SHE JUST SAID IT TO RUB IT IN JENS FACE !

I MEAN HASN'T SHE ALREADY HURT HER ENOUGH???

I THINK JENS RESPONSE WAS VERY APPROPRIATE AND SHE HANDLED THE SITUATION WELL .

sorry for the caps -___- didnt realise until i stoped lols
I think it was thoughtless and insensitive. Jennifer Aniston's response was appropriate enough. I'm glad she didn't expound on it, though.
I think Jennifer is pathetic, she simply wants attention and for people to feel bad for her because she's going no where with her life and her career is in the dumps.
I think it was retarded and sorry that I wasted that time clicking on the article and reading it.
i don't really get into that crap about celebrities whining and crying about who did what to whom i say let them just go into the ring in let them 2 knock there self's out in get it over with seiryklav
I think Jolie is arrogant and low class and I have no respect for her or Pitt. Aniston has showed the only class in the whole thing.
I think it was better left unsaid.

  • I'm a Taurus and just got married to another Taurus who got her car repossessed. What car should we buy?

We need to pay cash...under $3,000.00. Only gifted astrological people need reply. Thank you!I'm a Taurus and just got married to another Taurus who got her car repossessed. What car should we buy?
hmmm.... tough one.I'm a Taurus and just got married to another Taurus who got her car repossessed. What car should we buy?
There is a Scorpio car! Lol.

    http://www.clickindia.com/detail.php?id=鈥?/a>

but that one's in India lol don't buy it. I recommend a GM car... a used Chevy is always good. I have a Chevy Cavalier 1999 and I have only spent $1400 in ten years on it... a belt broke, water pump went out, alternator went out, and then the required 100,000 maintenance. Any mechanic will tell you those items are made to go bad anyway. So that's my scorpio car advice for the day lol.
    Anything But a taurus..

Too bad there's not a car called scorpio. :)

How many times can you beg a married woman to leave her husband for you before it becomes a little creepy?

keep begging honey; it aint' creepy yetHow many times can you beg a married woman to leave her husband for you before it becomes a little creepy?
Its all in the ';delivery'; of how you do it, not the frequency. But, if you are ';Single';, you'd be better off focusing on single (available) women. How many times can you beg a married woman to leave her husband for you before it becomes a little creepy?
    don't be a fool - go elsewhere.

    .
Is she catholic? Keep trying--persistence pays off most times.
The 3rd times a charm right? so anything over that then give it up!

If you want me then just ask stop beating round the bush! ;-)

If my wife was claimed as a dependent for 1/2 the year (we married in June) what will our stimulus check be?

Will we get $1200, or since she was claimed by both her parents and I, will we only be getting a $600 rebate check? If my wife was claimed as a dependent for 1/2 the year (we married in June) what will our stimulus check be?
Either your tax return includes an exemption for your spouse or it doesn't. Two tax returns cannot each have an exemption for the same person.

From your information, it appears that you filed a joint return with your spouse, but her parents claimed her as a dependent. This is allowed only in the situation where both spouses are not required to file, and if they file they do so only to receive a refund of taxes withheld.

If this is what occurred, then you will not be receiving a rebate. Since both you and your spouse are considered taxpayers on the return, and your spouse is a dependent on another person's return, your return does not qualify for a rebate.

However, if you filed a married filing separate return by yourself, then you would be entitled to a rebate for yourself.

So, by filing a joint return you got a larger standard deduction but no rebate. If you were disqualified from the rebate, your refund next year will be up to $1,200 larger. If my wife was claimed as a dependent for 1/2 the year (we married in June) what will our stimulus check be?
There's no way to be claimed for half a year. If you both claimed her (and by the way you can't ';claim'; a spouse although you can file a joint return), you'll both be hearing from the IRS to straighten it out. It's either/or - and since you are married if you filied a joint return you'll get the exemption, her parents won't.

Your rebate might be delayed while this is sorted out. But you should end up with whatever you qualify for - that's only $1200 if you paid that much federal income tax for the year, so could be $600 or somewhete in between depending on your tax liability.
    Judy is 100% correct.

For income tax purposes, if you were married on the last day of the year you are considered married for the entire year.

Why do gay people want to get married so badly?

I'm not homophobic or anything wrong like that, I'm only wondering. Why do gay people want to get married so badly?
For me, it's about two things: 1) being considered an equal in this country and 2) having the same rights afforded to married couples. If my partner gets sick and needs to go into the hospital, as his partner I think that I should be able to visit him without his parents' consent and that I should be able to take a medical leave from work like a hetero couple if it calls for it.Why do gay people want to get married so badly?
What's so strange about wanting to get married and settle down with the person you love and wanting to provide for them. Is it odd to want to be able to be with your partner when they're in the hospital, to make medical decisions for them ? Is it goofy to want to leave your estate to your loved one with as little hassle as possible?
Why do straight people want to get married!!!!!!!!!!

Are you so dim witted to truly not know the answer ti your own question!?

You know they might be in love and might want to spend the rest of their lives commited to each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe that the retracted of the Gay Marriage law in Cali was a huge mistake.
...i'm sorry. how old are you? 5? gay people want to get married because they're in love. why do straight people want to get married so badly? BECAUSE THEY'RE IN LOVE.

just because they're gay doesn't mean they don't feel the same way straight people do about relationships.
for the same reasons straight people do.

    also, sick of this question.

it should be obvious by now.

    its like asking ';you crafty queers have an ulterior motive dont you?';

    but let me be honest.

its all true what you hear about us.

we want to marry so we can destroy society, recruit your kids, and make god cry.
To recieve the same beniefits we are entitled to:

    Example:

Individual health insurance cost about $500 a month!

Adding a spouse is no charge! However adding a domestic partner cost an extra $100! Suxs!

And in some states they won't even let you recognize domestic partnership so thats $500 per person when it should just be only $500
There are 1,049 benefits, rights, and privileges only offered through legal marriage. When a same-sex couple is prevented from legally marrying, they are being denied these rights.
THE SAME REASON STRAIT PEOPLE DO...THEY ARE NOT UN- HUMAN BECAUSE THEY ARE GAY..THEY ARE JUST LIKE YOU AN I,THEY JUST CHOOSE TO HAVE THE SAME SEX PARTNER..AN MOST OF ALL THEY WANT THE SAME RIGHTS EVERYONE HAS THEY DONT WANT TO BE SINGLED OUT BECAUSE THEY ARE GAY...FEEL ME? IM NOT GAY BUT I CAN PUT MYSELF IN ANYONES SHOES AN I WOULD WANT TO BE TREATED EQUAL NO MATTER WHAT MY SEXUAL PREFRENCE IS...CAUSE IN THE END WE REALLY CANT HELP WHO WE LOVE IF THE LOVE IS REAL.....
I think I know what you mean. It's more along the lines of, ';Why the hell would ANYONE want to get married?'; As for that, I've got no clue. It looks like it sucks.
Like any other couple they want to ';officiate'; their love for each other - and possibly eventually go through a divorce like countless others, gay or straight.
For the exact same reason straight people want to get married.

You can get married, why should we be denied the same right?

    Exactly.

    xx
Because they are not allowed. The same reason blacks and women fought for equal rights. Once they are allowed, future gays probably will not even appreciate the right
Why would Heterosexual couples want to get married?

Your question is filled with ignorance.
They don't. It's just a small minority that actually do. Look at how few of the eligible have actually done it.
well iam not gay but if some one took my right for marrying becasue iam not white or sumthing,,i would want to fight for my rights..
so if u liked guys and u werent paticularly attracted to girls would u get mad if u couldn't marry the guy.
Because we'd like to commit to someone we love in a way that the word ';civil union'; cannot possibly describe.
    Equality
    It's called equal rights
Love is a pretty good reason, don't you think?
    They wanna be happy too!
    so they can adopt kids
the same reason straight people do...to express there love for each other!
Yea, I'm all for gay divorce! Who's with me!
shut up, y would u ask this?

My friend is getting married July 18 I am the maid of honor. Um getting married sept 18?

Is it ok for me to try and catch her boquet cause I guess I'm technically single or is it wrong? My friend is getting married July 18 I am the maid of honor. Um getting married sept 18?
yeah I think when they call all the single ladies to the dance floor to catch the bouquet, it means anyone not technically married. but you're as good as married if you're 2 mos from your wedding so why not give other girls a chance? I've never caught the bouquet :(My friend is getting married July 18 I am the maid of honor. Um getting married sept 18?
if you are already with a date in sight and know for sure you are going to marry on september them you shouldn't catch the bouquet
why would you do that you have a man and a wedding date.why not be generous and let a person with no bf get the bouquet.
I wouldn't say it's wrong, just not really fair to everyone else if you do catch it, since you already know you're getting married. On the other hand, the bouquet throw is just a game No one actually believes in it, even though people act crazy trying to get it.
if your fiance doesn't mind it's no big deal! have fun with it. you should have it actually, because technically you are the next one getting married!

    :)

Does it matter if my ex gets married and owes me child support?

I was wondering if anyone from Illinois would know if your ex gets married does it affect your child support in any way? My ex already doesnt work but incase he gets a job and gets married do they include the wife's pay along with my ex's pay on how much support he pays me?Does it matter if my ex gets married and owes me child support?
Yea, it matters to him. Now he's got to support his new wife, and yours too!Does it matter if my ex gets married and owes me child support?
I've worked in the child support system for about 15 years and I know that in the majority of states the wife's income cannot be touched. Even if they ask for the tax returns that are joint the judge still breaks down which portion of the income is his and which portion is hers. The only person who has the legal obligation to care for the child is the father regardless if he's married. I've seen many women upset because their exes spouse makes six figures and she cant touch a dime of it.
I am not certain about the rules in Illinois but where I live, child support is based on how much he makes. It is my understanding that if he gets married, they add her wages to his and make the decision based on the full amount. That is the reason why some guys just 'date' so that the girlfriends wages are not affected
It depends on the state you live in. But if you think it would be cool to take his new wife's hard earned money to support your kids, I'd disagree with you. The responsibility, both financial, emotional and physical, should belong to you and your husband. She had nothing to do with conceiveinging those children.
As a man that pays out the nose, I can tell you my new wife's money is the only way i survive, so no you can't have HER money too! Get real.
Some states do in deed use household income in calculating support orders so it could be in your benefit depending on your states laws.

    Mary in Camden, MI
His wife doesn't have to pay for his children, no. If he gets a job then yes, he needs to not only pay but make up for what he already owes...

  • Can we spend our lifetime without getting married?

I don't want to get married.... so wanted to know how does my life goes... people say that its pretty hard to be....... as there should be someone for you to share things and someone has to take care of you when you get old.

But, I almost lost hope that someone will be there for me and all, so can you please help me by providing pros and cons of a life without marriage. Can we spend our lifetime without getting married?
there is nothing wrong with being single if that is your choice. there is also nothing wrong with being married, if you meet that special someone one day that you want to spend the rest of your life with.

its nice being single because you are only on your schedule with your life. and you are only accountable for you.

its nice also being married because of the intimacy of sharing your life with someone. hopefully this person will have your back and you have theirs.

its a personal decision. neither lifestyle is wrong. Can we spend our lifetime without getting married?
pros of being single- you can do what you want when you want, everything is where you last put it, Silence, not having to please anyone or entertain them

    Life being married Pros

1.You have someone beside you who loves you who will protect you at all costs who will die for you need i say more.
I don't believe in marriage as an institution. I have two brothers, both gay, and live in Alabama. If they can't get married, I'm not going to do it either. That's just how I feel about it ( :

So do you mean you don't want to be legally tied to someone, or do you mean you don't want to spend your life with one person? They're different things. I think humans are drawn to each other in a sense. But if you don't feel that way, don't push it. It's perfectly fine, maybe not ';normal';, but perfectly fine to be your own person.

I would recommend finding something else to throw some energy in to. Learn to make cheese, or save up for a really awesome house. ( :
There's no point to marriage vs not if you want to stay together - some people even have a commitment ceremony without marriage.

Bear in mind most people get divorced and it's not the perfect fantasy of them taking are of you when you get old (a guy would most likely die before you...kids take care of you when you're old though).

    Harriet
life without marriage = take care of yourself.

life with marriage = take care of yourself.

I think you are misinterpreting marriage, just because you are married doesn't mean you become a dependent lazy person. You are still responsible for you and taking care of yourself, there is no guarantee you will be taken care of.
Just because you don't want to get married doesn't mean your going to be alone.I don't have pro and cons but I will say this. I believe everyone needs some to love regardless if you get married or not. If you find someone who you have balance with I think it will turn out fine.
it is highly recommended by the apostle Paul to remain a bachelor or unmarried so you are free from all this emotional disasters in life. read 1 Corinthians chapters 7-8 of the Holy Bible.
i think you could. :] . i mean, you can still have a boyfriend... or not.. .%26amp;. still have a great time, in life.
I think you'd have a better life without having all the retarded obligations that come with marriage.
Many people do it anyway. If you are not strong in a particular faith/religion - then do what you want.
sure, but you won't get any benefits when he dies.

Married man that has been cheating for 10 years?

I am really curious... I know this guy who claims he has not been interested in his wife for over 10 years and thus cheating... His wife does not know or pretends she does not know as I know (not with me) that he spends nights outside the home...

How could a man still be married if he feels this way? How could a wife put up with such?Married man that has been cheating for 10 years?
Human beings are capable of a lot of weird stuff, including the rationalization and denial in the scenario you present. Some people would rather live a pleasant fantasy than face a potentially harsh reality.Married man that has been cheating for 10 years?
If it's ';Cheating'; in its purest sense then there is no point in being married. However if the non-cheating party has given the other a ';reason'; to look elsewhere then........... I ahve passed up many opportunities to ';cheat'; with single ladies who did not know I was attached. Once I told them the deal was over. But I'd rather not lie. Being upfront can cost you a great night(s) but there is hell to pay if you are not honest.
This happens all the time... She has a home and kids to take care of ... She focuses on taking care of the home and the kids and ignores his behavior... Being married is her first objective... I dont think he loves her as a woman or partner, but he enjoys to be mothered by her... He such an a**** ...

I would not put up with that?

    These is a rare scenario

    I think
WOW, he is a piece of **** risking bringing home a std to his wife, he needs to leave

and if his wife doesnt know how can she be putting up with it? She doesnt even know about it....which is sad
Easy. She keeps the lifestyle to which she's grown accustomed, and he keeps his money.

It's been going on for years. Don't be so naive.
He just doesn't feel a need to get out of his situation, that's all.
He always has a place to sleep and he knows his wife is stupid and will put up with it.
Because he's a creep and she has no self respect. Looks like they belong together!
She puts up with it bc she is ugly and cant get someone else
