As to a gift, I would not get him anything deeply personal that might lend itself to being displayed. Clothing is probably a bad idea as well; I would stick to something that a coworker might get him rather than something that explaining might be difficult.

I'm not judging you. I also have a relationship with a married man. But you have to acknowledge where you stand, and that is on the outside. If you can't deal with or don't want that, then find a single man. Don't try to make your relationship more than it is. I'm not buying my ';friend'; anything for Christmas; then again, he's a Jew!
