To answer your question, we are mammals, part of the animal kingdom. Marriage is nothing more than a legal contract established by humans. It is not an obligation for a human male and female to be married in order to engage in sexual intercourse, only humans conceived this practice, nature did not. If your purpose for marriage is sexual intercourse, I pity you.
Culturally among teenagers today loosing your virginity is a passage right into adulthood. The idea is that the next guy you sleep with will like that you are not a virgin. You cannot expect the world to share your morals. Most people live a life that is consistent with their world view... except for some Christians who are hypocrites and like to judge the world for not following their morals. This is wrong. Consider who you are asking this question of ';what do you gain?'; Most people would say you gain respect, life experience, and a grand ol time. God created us with sexual desires. It is not unnatural for people to act on them. Many people do not believe in marriage.
I fail to see the problem with this.





Sex is pleasurable, and has several notable health benefits (admittedly, there are also health risks when not practiced safely). But the idea that a guy should be uncomfortable with a girl who's not a virgin is an artificial construct created by our society. We're free to change or eliminate those taboos, because we're the ones who put them there in the first place.





I mean, I fell in love with a girl who had told me she wasn't a virgin, when I still was. And it didn't end up being a big deal. It's not like it made her a bad person or anything; she had just had an experience that I hadn't yet.
