Good movie to watch together before we get married?

Thought about Fireproof, but we are not very religious so not sure about that one. Any others?Good movie to watch together before we get married?

Well, I loved Fireproof and personally I think that you could get a lot out of it on the principles of being commited to a marriage even if you aren't religious.





A few other good examples would be:


';Click'; - great to show you how quickly things can go wrong, and to appreciate what you have

';fools rush in'; - I love that one!
Watch ';The Passion'; by Mel Gibson. You don't need to be religious to see the truth in what Jesus brought us is exactly what you are to do for one another.


You will have pain and you will have heartache. You will offend each other and you will argue. Know that this IS marriage!


Can you find the inner strength to forgive each other even in that fire?


Marriage is not about love - it's about FORGIVENESS!

Well lets see, there are the classics like Casablanca or Gone With the Wind. The more modern ones.... Untamed heart, Ever After (if you like the fairy tale thing), Jason's Lyric is a good one (my Husband loves it.) If you are looking for a comedy there's The wedding singer, 50 First Dates, or something like that. Hope this helps.
I recommend, War Of The Roses, Fatal Attraction, and almost all horror movies. Still not inspired? How about watching a movie I like to call, ';The D. Rate Is Still 50% and Climbing.'; I love that movie. Me and my ex wife watched that one together.
Fireproof was really good! As a Christian, I didn't think it was as religious as what it could have been, however, having Christ in a relationship lasts much longer!
Fireproof is a really good movie to watch together. It just shows how much it takes for a couple to put into a good marriage.
