*As I live in Texas as well the divorce has to be final for 30 days before you can apply for a new marriage liscense. So he needs to do it sooner than later!
No, you cannot. Unless you're a mormon living in a state that allows bigamy. as far as I know bigamy is illegal everywhere else and it would make your marriage null and void.
