Well if your state has no waiting period you can get married right then. If they do then you wait the allotted time.What is the process of getting married?
well if your just talking about the 'marriage' and not the wedding...
where I live you have to get a 'notice of intended marriage' a month before you marry.
Then your celebrant needs to organise the paperwork ready for you and your witnesses to sign after vows have been exchanged.
After that they lodge the papers and once you get your marriage certificate (which takes a while) it will have your marriage name and you will need to go to each place individually with that certificate to change your last name to your proper one!
Its all exciting =]
Run I have no idea how old you are but 65% of all married couples end up in divorce do you want to put your offspring through that
you go back to the same spot and just get married!!!... or at a church if you want... it costs more though...
