My fiance is in the United States %26amp; I am in Canada. We would like to get married. Who should go where so we can do it a.s.a.p.

You can marry in either country - it really makes no difference. However marriage does not grant any rights of citizenship or residence in either country, so you would need to go through immigration in whichever you decide to settle.





If you wish to live in California, look in to the K-1 visa. It's a non-immigrant visa allowing you to move to the US for the purpose of marriage. You need to marry within 90 days of arriving in the US, after which you need to file for an adjustment of status. It's generally the shortest of the available visas.
