I wouldn't know....my husband and I never got any wedding gifts and it was the first marriage for both of us. So according to our friends and family......you never have to give them....How many times does a person have to be married for you to stop giving gifts?
Anything after the first time is optional.
The only caveat is if the person divorced under proper conditions (death, abandonment, or adultery).

I think if a person has been married multiple times, a nice card would be fine. Although, if you are attending the wedding, a small gift would still be nice.
