I'm from Milwaukee county...
We had to take a photo ID, an original (no copies unless they are certified) birth certificate. It cost $100. You don't get the certificate right away, it takes about a week or so. Weekday weddings are cheapest, but harder for people to show. Two witnesses are needed (but at the wedding). The best-man and brides maid sign the marriage certificate at the ceremony.
