In Connecticut, how much does it cost to get married WITHOUT any form of ceremony?

Just to sign the papers and be legally married. In Connecticut, how much does it cost to get married WITHOUT any form of ceremony?
Sorry, but I don't know of any state where you ';just sign the papers.'; No one will let you do that. You DO have to have a short ceremony. Literally, these ceremonies are 5-10 minutes (or longer if you want that.)

You need to call the local county clerk's office (where you will apply for a marriage license) and inquire about scheduling a wedding. And, YES, this IS a ';real'; wedding. Many on here get this confused. The day you say ';I do'; IS your wedding.

Here is a link with all the county clerk's offices (and their phone numbers) listed at the bottom. Also look over the questions and answers:

The cost of the license at your Court House (should be under $50 and you can check that by going to Connecticut.gov and look around for a link) and anyone with a Justus of the Peace license can marry you. Most of the time the person who sold you the license to marry can do it or guide you to someone with in the court house that will. A lot of judges will do the ceremony for you.
Not too sure on the cost, but to be legally married you have to participate in a ceremony performed by an officiant. Signing a piece of paper isn't all that's involved.
