Where are good locations to get married and have a wedding reception at a good price.?

I was a small wedding in Las Vegas (where we live) and do not want to pay a lot of money for just one day. I also dont want it in a cheesy chapel for $200 either. I want something nice but not too pricey. I am a bargain shopper. Please help. We are planning on having it on October 16,2007

Thanks,

Sorry for the first comment...

Have you considered a park, maybe something a little more scenic, outside of the city? Or a simple cermony followed by a cocktail reception? That can be very chic and keep the costs down quite a bit. Also, look for a bed and breakfast that is outside the normal tourist areas. That should keep costs lower and help keep you and your guest away from cheesy places.Where are good locations to get married and have a wedding reception at a good price.?
Smaller towns outside of the larger towns generally yeild lower prices, however I have often found that vegas is the exception to the rule in almost everything. so here is a list of sites you can look through and see what you can find. You can go to a nice chapel without blowing the budget if you look hard enough.

I got married at Victoria's Wedding Chapel off of Sahara Drive in Vegas (gettign divorced now though). It was cheesy had a traditional ceremony incluiding a candle and rose ceremony included. It was beautiful. The package that I got was with a photographer about 250 pics, a videographer of the wedding and the ceremony for 25 guest for 1 hour. $700 this was in 1999. They may have gone up on rates since then but it was absolutely lovely and when people look at my pics that cant' believe it was in a chapel in vegas. Good luck.
Take a cruise to Bermuda, and get married, call your travel agent, and check out some prices!

I got married there last october, it was perfect. Only spent $900, that included a really great photographer. She gives you a cd of all of the photographs that she took., saving tons of money on printing. I will send you some of the pictures of my wedding if you are interested.
Parks are a fantastic place to get married, I know in VA they don't cost anything, you just need a permit to hold a gathering there. Check with your local park service.
