Getting married in December and i would love if you guys can assist with suggestions about decorating?

The reception will be held on a terrace outside upstairs.Getting married in December and i would love if you guys can assist with suggestions about decorating?
I'd go with a Spongebob Squarepants motif.Getting married in December and i would love if you guys can assist with suggestions about decorating?
For colors, I like black and white with green accents. I like pulling Christmas elements into the decor without it feeling too ';christmasy';. You could hang wreaths with white lights in them around the terrace, focusing on doors and any windows. Also adding the same white lights along railings or the ceilings adds a romantic vibe. You could also ask each guest (or family) to bring a Christmas ornament to put on a fake tree for your first tree as a married couple.
Hope you are in a warm climate to be outside.

Go for white Christmas lights and or candles in a glass container.

Poinsettias with Evergreen branches and gold ribbon or round gold christmas ornaments is nice.

Sprinkling glitter or something like it on the tables will add some shimmer.

Can use fake snow flakes around your center pieces.

Go to your local Dollar Tree or what ever Dollar store is near you and check out Christmas Decorations.

Go for things you can get in multiples to spread your money further.

Things like glittery or chrystal like snow flakes look good.

Another way to dress things up and save money is by using tulle- it is the fine net fabric that you see around nice gift baskets. You can get it by the yard at Walmart pretty cheap. Cut it lengthwise for thinner strips and save more. Can use looped through the center pieces, bows on chairs, a swag along the balcony, use your imagination.

If you are renting this place find out what they will provide at no charge or minimal cost.

Someplaces have items that have been left by another group that will work fine and save you money. You can even add your personal touches to them often times.

Have a great reception and enjoy the fact you did it without breaking the bank.
I agree with Deborah G and her suggestions. I might also add that you can use pillow stuffing or blanket batting to simulate snow. You can get that stuff at walmart, and maybe sprinkle some glitter into it. You could do a whole Ice Kingdom theme. Use silver and blue and white christmas decorations, blue christmas lights, that kind of thing. One really cool thing I saw was creating fake ice ponds by spreading tin foil shiny side up and then covering it with blue cellophane and surrounding it with the fake snow I mentioned earlier.
Hang solid colored Xmas ornaments or snowflakes made in your wedding colors. Blues and silvers are pretty that time of year...or golds and reds . Miniature white lights. Garlands with bows in your colors.
can you hang twinkle lights if so use led lights and have them put up nicely if you can

if not use the large balls in your wedding colors
If you want help with that, then you should at least give us a theme, or your colour scheme.
