I have no idea what is certicicate of law which is required by french before get married.?

I'm planning to get married in Paris by next year.Problem is i have no idea what is the certificate of law, since the french gov asked the other documents but i'm afraid i cant get married since it's so difficult for malaysian people especially muslim..I have no idea what is certicicate of law which is required by french before get married.?
